SQL Server Compact 3.5 (build 3.5.8080.0) has been released to web. SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 includes a host of new features including the following: • Support for the Transact-SQL Editor in Visual Studio 2010 that can be used to run free-text T-SQL queries and to view query show-plans for optimizing queries. • Exposes the Change Tracking feature as an application programming interface (API), namely, System.Data.SqlServerCe.SqlCeChangeTracking. The new Change Tracking API provides the ability to configure, enable, and disable change tracking on a table, and to access the change tracking data for the table. • New assembly versioning support and directory structure that enables the SQL Server Compact applications that use private deployment to load SQL Server Compact assemblies from within the application folder if they are of a higher version than that in the global assembly cache (GAC). • Support added for deploying the 64-bit version of SQL Server Compact using the ClickOnce deployment.

• Synchronization Services for ADO.NET v1.0 providing the ability to synchronize data from disparate sources over two-tier, N-tier, and service-based architectures. Hi Rob I have to replace an application which I originally wrote in vs2005 vb.net and synched to a sql Ce database. The desktop was used as a server using sql 2000 and hand held devices running CE 4.2, using IIS and sqlcesa20 agent. I have now got to update this application using hand held devices running CE7.00 and Sql 2008 r2 express or Sql 2012 express as sql server on a windows 7 Desktop. I have no control over hand held device Operating System.
It is the most frequent second allele in CAVD, often found in trans to ΔF508, the most common severe allele, but which generally does not manifest a heterozygote phenotype. In some cases the mild allele is a variant wild-type allele with a stretch of only five thymidines (T5) instead of seven (T7) or nine (T9). A few cases have two CFTR mutations, one of which is generally a known mild allele, but others are heterozygous for one severe (or sometimes mild) allele. CAVD is, of course, doubly abnormal in its inheritance pattern, as vertical transmission is unlikely with an infertility phenotype, at least until the recent advent of assisted reproductive technologies, such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection. The T5 allele produces a proportion of transcripts with an in-frame deletion of exon 9.
Would I be correct in thinking I have to go down the sync service route or could you suggest any other ideas. If you have any articles with this scenario i would be grateful with a steer towards them. Kind Regards Barry.
