I don't use the same VSTs to emulate the VOX AC30 and the SDD. I used to emulate them with 'The Duke' Amp from S-Gear plugin with Nick Crow Tube driver (free) and AXP Charbooster (free) in the front. There were too many parameters to set to get the good tone and it was quite difficult to get the good EQing (either too much lows or too much 'icy' trebles). Now I use JamVOX3 which has a great VOX AC30 emulation, IMHO. I use the Treble Booster which comes along with JamVOX3 to boost the AC30, as the SDD does (I believe.).
