When the user is fast fowarding/rewinding a mkv movie, the receiver is getting restarted.

This is not happening in 1.1.76. After that particular version, if you use a portable HDD, the receiver is restarting soon after fast fowarding. I have tried to supply the receiver with more juice (6Amps 12V power supplier) and the receiver is still restarting after fast forwarding. So the problem seems to be the software, not the hardware.

I have a few remarks for software for Amiko 8840 AMIKO_HD8840_Galaxy_1.6.25_by Dekolte.rar There is no serbian language listed in the menu, as well as, selection of subtitles and primary preffered language. Because of that the DVB subtitle cannot be turned on automaticaly on channel change. Lates official firmware contains these options, so therfore I was forced to use original firmware only patched to support emu and mcas. Honestly, haven't tried Multi and Ultra.

Well guys I hate to have to post this, but alas I have no control over it. Amiko has discontinued the Mini HD RE. I have been discussing this with them and they have decided it was time to move on to faster chip-sets and H.265 capable units.

I can understand this. The RE had the same class of Ali chip-set that were in many receivers over the last 10 years. Like the Openbox s9,s10, The first Manhattan, etc. Ali now has faster chip-sets that are double or more the speed etc. This same thing happened when boxes started coming out that could decode DVB-S2. Although there were many great boxes still out that were DVB-S only, they could not decode S2. So everybody had to have S2 capable boxes.

Currently I am testing a replacement box that will still be around the $100 mark. I will update everyone in a week to 2 weeks on how that is going. I will also say this.
